Veteran of the United States Army of 8 years through active duty at Fort Campbell Kentucky 101st airborne Division and reserves in Round Rock Texas for 988th MD Battalion. Graduate and Alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America in San Antonio Texas 2018. Chef Williams is now part Owner and Executive

Born and raised in Laredo Texas. Growing up, he was exposed to multiple career opportunities, but found his passion in cooking and making people smile with the dishes he made. He pursued his dream to San Antonio, Texas where he became an alumnus of the Culinary Institute of America. With the experience and knowledge, he gained, he took another step towards his dream and with his partners opened “A Way To The Heart” where he became Chef de Cuisine on May of 2021. With the restaurant gaining more popularity, it has only motivated David to further himself to become an even better chef and bring joy of cooking to more people.

Found his passion for food at a very young age helping friend and family in the kitchen, decided to move to San Antonito to continue his culinary training with the dream of one day opening his own restaurant, but opted out pursue a career in the medical field as a radiology technician. Few years after his graduation he was given the opportunity to return to the culinary world and decided to continue following his dream, now residing at “A Way To The Heart” as a part owner and Chef de Partie.
